Review of my year (2005)

Hi everyone!

Today i'm going to write about a review of this year, 2015. Well, this year was very good to me, because in first place i could know the Chilean Patagonia in the holydays of this year, was a wonderful experience to me because i don't knew these beautiful place.

In relation with my career this year was good, I had with good calification and i passed all the courses, so that is important to me. I had a lot of class very interesting with excelent teachers. Also i think that i've progress my English level, because before taking English class my english was so bad. I'm happy for my progress in this topic of the university.

On the another hand, this year was good because I knew new friends of geography, Luciano, Magda, Rocío, for example. all this thanks to English jijij. In Addition this year y learn to play Quena, a andean instrument of wind, i knew to Simon (english teacher) which it has been a great teacher to me, because thanks its metodologies i've learn english fun and fast way.

Finally, in general terms this year was a great year for all the wonderful people that i kwen and all the good things that happen to me.

Learning a lenguage with a blog

Hi everyone.

Today i'd like to write aboyt my experience learing English with a blog metodology. Well, this is the first time that i maked a blog, before that i just looked any blogs for know and download music.
So, how did i work in my post on blog? I think that, I think first in Spanish to write on blog, because my english still is not good for think what i want to say it.

Generally i comment on blog one or two times for week, but i watch some time to week different blog that its had music for download.

I remember that the blog which enjoyed so much its called  "Party Hard" of my classmate Eduardo, I laughed so much with its history about the party in which he tells his experience in this party, was funny.

Finally, my favourite post was which i wrote about my experience walking in the austral south of Chile, this was my favourite post because that travel was very important for my, was my first time in the Patagonia so i don't forgot never and  i'd will alway write o talk about this travel, if up were to my i speak ever about this post :)

What I Did Today

Hi Everyone!

Today i'd like to write about what i did today ( Thursday 10 december). Well, in the first instance i woke up early for to go to the dentist which it is located in front of the faculty of Engineering, in this place they conducted me a teeth cleaning. Thereafter i went to the University to my dear english class in which arrive a little late, i come only to converse in english with a classmate although it was short, it was funny. When finished the class i went to climbing wall (Bulder) of the FAU to training a little bit. Near to 2:00 PM i went to my house for lunch with my family, I remember that had chicken with rice and was delicious.

In the afternoon i went to the house of my friend juan to play guitar and we practise own english, i like to go its house because we entertain us and also we progress whit the English.

A Party

Hi everyone!

Today i'd like to write about a great party.  When I was younger the parties was a important hobby for me, i remember that i couldn't lose not one party, so in december 2010 i had a accident on my leg which reduced my mobility because they put me plaster on my leg, so will come the new year that mean a great party...  since i had injured was a big problem to me, because i couldn't going to the party, so i occur the great idea, make the New Year's party at home knowing involve that ( clean, look after, etc.).  I called to all my friends or the majority of them for they come to my house, they arrived near to the 1:00 A.M with a lot of beer, pisco, wine and many types of alcohol. I remember that we danced until too late, i danced with a plaster on my leg (imagine that...) i danced with my mom and any friends, i remember that my mom and my sister they came home near to 4:00 A.M and they started to "carretear" with us, was funny that, but both fun. We had dancing and drinking all the night, near to 9:00 A.M the people started to leave at my home, and my friend we want going to the cajón del maipo for to pass the hangover, i want to go with them but my leg stopped me.

I had a lot of fun this night, but will be the first and last time that i make the New Year's party at home...

Any about geography

Hi everyone!

Today i'd like to write about a subject from my career that i have studied. In this occasion i'm going to write about a subject that i liked so much. This subject is " Recuperación de áreas degradadas". I remember that i did this course in the second year of the University, the teacher that it taught me he called, Rodrigo Vargas, he is a geographer that specialist in recovery of ground and use appropriate of basins. In this subject i learned how important  is the native vegetation for own ecosystem, in area of sustainability or protection of own natural resource. In addition, i learned that the vegetation non native as "pines" or "eucalypstus" cause important damage to natural ecosystem, because the vegetation non native consume more water of normal, in this sense, the pines and eucalyptus consume the water of the native vegetation, also, this species being "coniferas" these ground bounce acid change the PH of ground, also it don't let grown other species, that is, when there pines only grown pines or eucalyptus.

I liked about this subject can work in areas erodes or degraded, I learned that the most form for recover this areas is plant vegetation native, or vegetation with capacities hold ground, as succulent vegetation, The agave for example, is a vegetation with capacities for hold ground of erodes.

I remember that in this course we go many times to fieldtrip, i think that for this i liked, because i think that in fieldtrip is when i learned more than in a classroom.

A Special place in Santiago

Hello Everyone!

Today i'd like to write about a special place in Santiago that i like to go. Although, recently i don't i've been much, for reason of time. This place is "The hills Tupahue" or  better know as "The Hills San Cristóbal". This place is in the heart of the city which, also cross many comunas of Santiago, as Santiago Centro, Recoleta, Providencia, Vitacura, among other. When i have time i go to the Hills at least two times for week and when i'm of holydays i can't to go close to everydays. Generally, i like to go with my friends or with my girlfriend, although there are times i like to go alone.
In this place i like to do a lot of things, as cycling, running or simply go to relax enjoyed of nature that have this place.

In the south hillside there's a place that i like so much, this place called "Bosque Santiago", is a place with many native vegetation, also for be a south hillside this place have a lot of vegetation for be a damp zone. I know this place of the hills for a class of geography in which we went to analyze the impact of the non native vegetation. as "eucalyptus" or "Pines".

I like so much the hills, because have varied vegetation depending of its hillside. In addition, you can do many activities recreational, since cycling, running, walking, eat in the restaurant (if you have money jaja). I remember the last time that i went to the hills was in summer, when with a couple friends we went cycling to the top of the hills.

Hi everyone!

Today i'd like to write about somenthig I would to like own: A land in the south of Chile

well, i have born in Santiago, a city with a lot of pollution of all types, with many people and with quality of life that i don't like, so alway i liked it the landscapes of the south and for over all its qualty of life, the south have a peace, tranquillity, etc.
I would like to own a land in the south, because i love the rain and snow. In addition, I would like construct or form my future home in some city or town of the south of Chile, as Temuco, Valdivia, Puerto Montt, Coyhaique, among others. I would like to have many animals, a orchard, a little field soccer in this land and improve my quality of life through the benefits of the nature. Also, and i think is very important this.. is get a job like geographer in some of theses cities. In conclusion i'm a big fan of the landscapes of our southern Chile :)

Someone I Would Like To Meet

Hi everyone !

Today i'm going to write about someone well known i'd like to meet, this person is David Gilmour. I've been a fan of Gilmour since i was about 15 or 16 years old. Personally when i listened his band called Pink Floyd. I was attracted to him and his music because his form you play the guitar is fantastic and exciting. When Gilmour play the guitar is as to be on the heaven, i feel a lot of pleasure with sound of your guitar. He is famed for be the principally guitarist and vocals of the english band Pink Floyd, he is a the composer of the band with  Roger Waters both have been very important musicians of a lot of contemporary musicians.

I would like to meet to Gilmour, because i admire him a lot as a musician, and as he achievement give a new twist to the band, giving and making it attractive for me, because before of Gimour, the band had another guitarist and vocalist ( Syd Barret), but when he came Gilmour the band take a styles a little different, as pyschedelic, progressive, etc. I would like talk to him, for share ideas and to teach me how to play air guitar, and give me tips to improve with guitar.

I admire your work with pink floyd and as soloist, I think that aftert the departure of Syd Barret with Waters they managed to bring pink floyd to the top. Gilmour is a fantastic guitarist and as i play guitar is a example to go :)

A Restaurant or Bar

Hi everyone!

Today i'm going to write about a restaurant i like to go to. well, this restorant it's called "Zenwich" and it's on diagonal paraguay between vicuña mackena and portugal, specifically in front of the faculty of economic and business (FEN). This restaurant sold shushi and sandwich. The owners are young chileans very friendly and with very good attention to public. Sincerely i don't know when he opened the restaurant, but I think that spend a couple of years working. I knew this restaurant for my girlfirend, because she likes to go.
I like zenwich because the menu is varied and the prices are reasonable, also they have an vegetarian option to more variety. I like so much the variety in foods, i like the "gohan" which are shushi to plate or the  Cheese rolls, or the Hosomaki which are snacks wrapped in Nori, so delicious :)
The layout of the restaurant it's simple and casual with a cople of tables and bars to eat. In general, the place it's small but cozy, they have a T.V showing musical videos of different styles, i think that the most important for my, is that  I can pay with junaeb card and have vegetarian food (because I always go with my girfriend, and she is vegetarian).
The last time that I went to zenwich was the last friday, on this occasion I went to the restaurant with my girlfriend and his classmates, that time we ate many gohan until we was very full.
I recommend this place for it's prices and proximity to the faculty, because it's good, nice, cheap and close.

A unforgettable concert

Hi Everyone!

Today I write about about a concert I went to. Generally I've been going to concert since very young, I've went to many concert principally local character, namely, I went to see Chilean Band. But everything changed when I had the chance of going to see a concert the international character. It's like that, when in the year 2010 I had the opportunity to see the american band " Rage Against The Machine". The concert was in the bicentenary stadium de la Florida. I remember that we went with a gruop friend in which we saw a concert with much energy, everyone kept jumping. In addition, the concert and principally the vocalist make participle the people.

I remember there where many people and not just to see to "Rage Against The Machine", because in that concert they played two bands more called: The Mars Volta and Suicidal Tendencies. I principally went to see "R.A.M.T", but I remember listen "The Mars Volta" and I liked so much.
In the other hand, i remember what i liked most was how we got to the concert, because we were togheter a lot friends drinkin beer :P

This band was very important for my during my adolescence, because is there where I begin to relate to the English and social criticism lyrics. In general i liked so much to see one of my favorite bands, it was spectacular to see the band that turned you crazy during adolescence live and direct and with your best friends.

A Good Field Trip

Hello Everyone!

Today I write about a field trip I went on. Well, in my degree Geography we have many field trip, some are bored and other are very enjoyable and interesting like a field trip that I had in the past semester. In this field trip I went to the 6th region near to the sea in the localities of "Navidad" and "Pichilemu".
I went with my classmates and teachers of the class called " Gestión Integrada de Zonas Costeras", in which we had that make a model of management cultural, social, environmental and economic of the coastal zone of  "Navidad" and "Pichilemu", but choose one locality for work. In addition, was necesary integrate all the aspects of the geography, as a sustainable develoment or that natural resources they are in hand of the community and not in hand of a company external to the territory.

In general i enjoyed so much, because was a experience very important in the training as geographer, in addition was a useful work that it helped me for understand complex thar are the coastal zones and vulnerable they are. I feel that is important hard work in this zones, because are potential areas for the local development, where in generally this areas are abuse for badly management and personal interest.

Favourite Geography Subject

Hi everyone!

I come back after of vacation expected... well, today i write about the one of my favorite geography subject wich are tems related with environmental conflicts that affecting communities of a given territory. This geography subject talk about spatial inequalities relative to the amount of green areas, or why in some areas are located landfills or polluting industries, all this makes mention of a concept called " Environmental Justice", this geography subject i knew in a class called " Ecología Urbana" or Urban ecology which i learned as in the urban areas there mishandling of the natural resources and the household waste and industrial waste in the city or in urban spaces and like there use of equitable and sustainable manner our waste and natural resources.

I liked this theme because is very important in any communities and territory take care of natural resources and waste of the population, at the same time care the population of the industrial pollution, because in the poor communities is where environmental rights are violated, due to the low power of these communities to make decisions about their territory.

I have learned that the poor communities of the city need major environmental education in all aspect and that empower its territory to make decisions regarding the location of landfills or polluting industries. Is important that distribution is more egalitarian green areas in the city because this help decontaminate areas locally and prevent diseases related to industrial or residual contamination which affect mostly the poor communities of the city.

A Walk

Today write a walk what did i do and i would like to do again. 

Since that was a little boy always I call my attention the south of Chile, his landscapes, the rivers, the glaciers, the fiords, the volcanos, the lakes, in brief all his geography. But never had the oportunity of know it, until the last summer.  The last summer i knew the south of Chile specially the Austral Highway is there when i kwen any places wonderfuls, but the place wich i would like come back is the national park "Queulat" in the 11th región of Aysen, this places is spectacular... there is a suspension glacier and a big glacier lake with a colours impressive. For arrive at the glacier I had that walk about the three hours is a trek wonderful, when we border the mountains ( I was with my girlfriend) between native forest, gorge, steeps, and much water, because the water falling everywhere, i belive that this place is the most rainy when i have was hahaha. I come back this place because i would to like know more trek in the national park Queulat, as "enchanted forest" and " the lagoon of puma". I come back specially in summer i don't care what summer, only know that have be in summer  because rainy much). In general this walk i liked so much because I can see the beautiful landscape with native flora and fauna of the region, i liked so much walk for those trails full of magic and nature.

I would like come back for know more places of the national park Queulat that not knew for thing of time... Places like "The Enchanted Forest" or "Lagoon of Puma", they are my priority if come back.

A Job I Would Like To Do

Hello Everyone!!

Today i will write about a job would like me to do. Actually , I have not done many works in my life. Basically, before going to at the University I worked in a the supermarket into food part doing the inventories and those boring thing.. this jobs i did it during two long years. Well, i'll stop talking about the past and i'll talking about would like me to do.

The jobs would like me to do are a lots. In the first place would like me be a great musician and worked in some band of latin american music, specially folk music or something like that. why?
because apart of the geography, the music is a of the  thing more important in my life together with the football. I would like because in the case of have success, could travel around the world and know new cultures, new music styles, different forms of life, etc.  truly i don't care travel for travel but travel for learn and grow as musician.  What is needed for to do this job well is basically be constant with the musical instruments and be rigorous and practice to much. I think that i can do it good, because the most important in any job is that you like and feel passion for the music.

The persons who inspired me are bands as " los prisioneros", "intillimani", "illapu", among other, becasuse these bands born of humility and were progressing through time. In Adittion, also they grew for the many tours they make across the south America and the world.

A Country I Would Like to Visit

Hello Everone!!

Today i'm going to write about the country I would like to visit. well I like to visit various countries specially the countries of the south america like: Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador. but why i would like to visist this countries?. Recently I'am very interested for the cultures pre-colombinas (before Cristobal Colón) like the Inca culture that covered countries like Colombia, Peru, Bolivia, Argentine ando Chile, i would like to visit this countries for know more about his culture so mystic. In addition i would know his geography so varied, since hills, jungles, rivers, mountains and his ocean of warms waters.
I would like to visit this countries with my girlfriend (jiji) because she is my complement in all. Both enjoyed of the andean cultures and inca cultures, also we liked go trekking and those countries have any place for this activity. In this countries specially in Peru i would like to visit Machu Picchu the ruins of the Inca culture, also i would like to visit the oruro carnival in Bolivia wich is musical and cutural carnaval with much dancing. In addition i would you like know more about the musical culture of this countries, learn to play charango or sampoña in this countries and travel with the music, this is to say, travel play music and survive economically talk, but the more important this travel is grow like person.

A Piece of Art

Hello everybody !!

 Today i will write about the "Art". Well, like my teacher i can't say i'm big fan art, but always i have been a fan of the painting or drawing having relation with the human body and his spiritualism.

This painting is a CD cover of the band the progressive rock called "Tool" of his disk "Lateralus", and it was painted for the artist Alex Grey, which has done the majority of the CD cover of this band. In The picture can we see a part of the human body but his interior part it is in sight, showing some of his chakras represented for the eyes. This picture i saw for the first time when i was given said disk, when i was an adolescent  hehe.
I like so much the style of this artist related with the human body and his spiritual power across of the mind, in general i liked his works because make me feel that there is not force majeure that the mind.

In addition, his work have that style psychedelic that i like so much, we invite it to learn more of his works like work called " Gaia" of the Alex Grey , that posed a vision more conscious about of who we used on the planet.

Hello Everyone !!

Today i write about one of my passions, This is the Andean music, specially about the andean instrument. The Andean instrument used are: The 'Charango', 'Quena', 'Sapompoña', 'Guitar', and ' Bass drum'. Basically this are the andean instrument more popular for the play music. Years ago i learned a play guitar, because this instrument was interest for my, and  addition I can play much styles musicals with guitar, not only andean music.

Well, my passion with music has been very powerfull, whenever i liked listen to music, but never i play any instrument maybe for my ambient, wich had no connection whit musicals intruments or maybe for not have proximity with some musician, but for my lucky this change when i entered at the University of Chile. Is there where I´ve know many people that play musicals instruments, so i began to lear play an Andean instrument that is called "Quena", this andean instrument is a wind instrument similar flute, but of different material. The "Quena" is done of bamboo or coligüe ( For the Argentina of Chile), this instrument have seven hole wich are covered with seven fingers. This instrument need a lot of practice and dedication, but above all many passion for the music. Well blogheads, now leave one of my favorite song of Andean Music, this is the Bolivian group.

A BEACH


Hello Everyone!

As Chile has hundred of beaches have, it is difficult to choose one, but if by proximity, i choose Pichilemu and Punta de Lobo in the sixth region. This beach is mi place of the vacations for several reasons. Fist, the beach is place of surfing in Chile, is the birthplace of surfing and i like a lot, because i am learning surfing. I try to go very often to this place, in as time and money allow me.
The last time i went was in the february of the year 2014, I miss you so much this place, i miss you the people and the surf. In Pichilemu I became friends who are instructors of surfing and they i was taught to surf, was a experience wonderful, ocean feel like you are part of it was awesome.
I remember i slept in the house where they kept the tables of the surf, by the sea and sand. Obviosly the sand was the best bed in the world for my, because i had all the beach for my. Was a summer wonderful, where my connection to the sea grew much more what i knew.
I wish everyone to the visit the beautiful place :) !

Something you would like to learn to do

Hi everyone !

Today i will tell you about my desire learn to play Charango, The Charango is a instrument of string similary a guitar, but more string and tuning. I like so much the andean music and andenan culture. As a child my parent they listened andean music, groups like "Los Jaivas", "Intillimani", "Sol y Lluvia", etc. From there was born my love for this music style.  I played charango a little, but i can't like i want.. first because i don't have a Charango to practice, that my learning difficult. I think if i had a Charango i could learn faster this beautiful instrument because motivation is. 

I will not be so difficult to learn to play Charango, because i play guitar, both are string instrument and similari. I have a classmate that you play charango, then he teaches me to play Charango, he teaches me the chords and the and the songs that like me in Charango, like " Rosita de pica" song of Hector Soto, a chilean musician specialist in Charango that i really like, because he is a musician with a lot of history and admire like musician. I let a Song him enjoy much, waiting that they like.

Hello everyone!

This is a photograph is  the National park "Queulat"  wich is located in the XI region of the Aysen, this photograph i took in the summer of this year,  precisely in the month of febraury. Well, this photograph show the hanging glacier and the lagoon "Témpanos" and all the biodiversity of plant species and animal species in it. This place is really beautiful with much peace and tranquility,  in addition is possible to see like the hanging glacier this backing for the global warming. The lagoon Témanos has a colour green turquoise due to sediment glacier of place. This photograph is important for me, because is the first time that i see a hanging glacier in person, was awesome see the hanging glacier with my own eyes and see like the planet is changed for the human accion. I wold love to return there, and try to get closer to the hanging glacier for take samples of glacier sediments, in addition to see more animal species like the bird "Cometocino de gay" , not seen in the photograph, but live in this ecosystem togheter with many species representative of the patagonia, like the condor, the bird "chucao" or the "huemul" that are important species in the biodiversity of the region.

Extra Post 2: First Day At University

well... I remeber my first day at University like a very important day for my, because I had so eager to go at University for know this new world, full diversity and eager learn about Geography.

My first friends was Marcelo, Cristian and Fabian, I remember that we became friends because we had a very many issues in common, like education, public politics, football,music and beer hahaha.

I remember that had many activities recreational at University, like futbol, orchard, climbing, among others. I remember that i met many people intersting that helped me with avice about University and geography, i felt so motivated for started my studies that did want to begin my class in that one moment. I remember that we played football all afternoon and played musical instruments like, guitar and djembe with the rest guys of geography. I remember that we did a roast and we bought many, but, many beers for all the mates of geography, was a afternoon very entertaining, that i will never forget, because for my that day was very important like first day at university of Chile.
